If you have been looking for a learn to speak Spanish CD set, the Rocket Spanish language course is also available in this format and is delivered to your door. In case you were unaware, Rocket Spanish is available in two formats, one of which can be downloaded straight to your computer. The hard copy is delivered though it does not contain a single learn to speak Spanish CD for you to learn from as the pack includes multiple CD’s. If you want to know what Rocket Spanish is all about, you can read the complete Rocket Spanish review by clicking here. If you have been looking for a learn to speak Spanish CD, lets take an in depth look at the hard copy of Rocket Spanish.

As I mentioned in my Rocket Spanish review, I decided to get the hard copy of the course as I wanted the course straight away. Still people have different reasons for wanting a ‘Learn to Speak Spanish CD’ and when I last checked, Rocket Spanish came bundled with 25! That certainly is a vast amount of CD’s for the purpose of learning the Spanish language but anyone who has the course knows it holds a lot of material. Still, Rocket Languages were wise to make Rocket Spanish available on CD for many reasons. Choosing between the downloadable version of Rocket Spanish and the Spanish Audio CD bundle was a quick choice for me to make. As I now have an adequate broadband connection, I got hold of the complete course in virtually no time but I fully remember using my dial up internet service.

It took an unreasonable amount of time for me to download an update for a piece of software on my computer. Because of this, I wouldn’t dream of downloading a full software package unless the program was very small. Perhaps I’m going off on a tangent a little but I can imagine the hard copy of Rocket Spanish will be a great alternative for anyone still using a dial up modem. Owners of the Spanish audio CD version of the Rocket Spanish course do get some advantages over Spanish students who decide to download the course.

Firstly, the Rocket Spanish CD’s audio content is of higher quality than the downloadable version of the course. Personally, I found the downloadable versions audio to be crystal clear so Rocket Languages must have had to do significant work to improve on this for the CD version of the course. You can take the Spanish audio CD’s from the hard copy of Rocket Spanish and put them straight into your in car CD player. This means you can learn Spanish from the CD’s while you are on your travels. I’m a big supporter of this kind of learning as it gives you a chance to practice your language skills regularly while doing something else that’s practical. It’s great if you are someone who travels regularly and you also want to learn or improve your Spanish skills.

Mauricio Evlampieff is the author Of Rocket Spanish and the course is now very popular amongst students learning Spanish. The Rocket Spanish team created the course in 2005 and it is avaiable as a 25 CD bundle that includes more than 12 hours of audio. The CD’s also contain electronic books containing information on Spanish vocabulary and grammar. The CD bundle also includes funinteractive learning games. Downloading the course is cheaper but the audio on the CD version is of higher quality.

You don’t have to learn Spanish while stuck in front of your computer if you don’t want to as you can learn Spanish from the CD’s by playing them on any CD player. You will still need your computer to get the full experience from Rocket Spanish. Even though there are over 12 hours of audio on the CD’s to learn Spanish from, you need your PC for the additional content. The hard copy of Rocket Spanish also includes the MegaVocab and MegaAudio games and also electronic books to read. You can also find these in the downloadable version and they help improve your recognition of specific words.

As I mentioned in my review of Rocket Spanish, I’m completely happy with the downloadable version of the course and if you have the means, I recommend it. It’s significantly cheaper than the hardcopy and you get the complete package straight away (depending on your connection speed). If you don’t have the means of downloading the course, the hard copy is delivered within fifteen days. You get more than a mere ‘learn to speak Spanish CD’ with Rocket Spanish no matter what version you get.
